About Bowen NPCC
​
Bowen Secondary School started in 1982 in the growing new town of Ang Mo Kio. On 4 December 1999, Bowen made its historic move to new and current premises at 2 Lorong Napiri.
​
Bowen NPCC was established the same year Bowen Secondary School started.
​
Bowen NPCC is currently in Area 6 along with Holy Innocents' High School, Hougang Secondary School, Montfort Secondary School, North Vista Secondary School, Serangoon Secondary School, Serangoon Garden Secondary School, and Xinmin Secondary School.
In 1968, the concept of allowing NPCC units to design their formation sign was introduced. It enabled units to develop its own unique identity and instill a greater sense of pride and a sense of belonging among cadets.

Bowen NPCC's current formation sign was designed and introduced in 2011 in conjunction with the change of Bowen Secondary School crest.
